Prof. Dr. Dirk Schiereck has held the Chair of Corporate Finance at TU Darmstadt since 2008. Before joining TU Darmstadt, he spent two years at the Institute for Mergers & Acquisitions at the University of Witten/Herdecke and six years at the European Business School. He received his doctorate and habilitated at the Chair of ABWL at the University of Mannheim. His research focuses on  corporate finance, performance measurement, and investor relations.
