Hering Schuppener extends involvement as a partner of the Center for Research in Financial Communication

Hering Schuppener, founding partner of the Center for Research in Financial Communication, extends its commitment as sponsor of the Center for Research in Financial Communications by an additional 3 years. The financing of the Hering Schuppener doctoral fellowship for financial communications is the core of the sponsorship. In addition to financial support, Hering Schuppener also supports the scholarship holders ideationally and with professional contacts. Prof. Dr. Christian Hoffmann is delighted about the extension of the partnership: “Hering Schuppener has been associated with our research institution from the very beginning – through the support of young scientists, joint research projects, engagement in lectures and the promotion of practical transfer events. Dr. Kebbel is a valued member of our Steering Committee. This close cooperation enables our research to stay at the pulse of time.” Dr. Phoebe Kebbel, Managing Partner at Hering Schuppener, says: “By founding the Center for Research in Financial Communications  3 years ago, Professor Hoffmann has closed a gap in research and teaching at German universities. We greatly appreciate the exchange between research and practice and are pleased to continue this partnership. Additionally, we recruit graduates from the University of Leipzig, some of which have made remarkable careers in our company.” The current scholarship holder is Sandra Binder-Tietz, who is expected to complete her dissertation on the “Role of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board in strategic Corporate Communications and Investor Relations” in 2020. She is already the fifth Hering Schuppener scholarship holder at the University of Leipzig.
