Integrated Communication is a topic in corporate communications research and practice for more than 30 years – most often focusing on the relationship between public relations and marketing. One recent emerging function of corporate communications is investor relations, which is responsible for maintaining relations with the capital market. Correspondingly little information is available on the cooperation or even integration between investor relations (IR) and corporate communications (CC) functions in financial communication tasks. As part of a broad empirical study, the companies listed in the DACH region were surveyed regarding the cooperation in financial communication tasks. The full study is available here.
