Dr. Sandra Binder-Tietz is Managing Director of the Center for Research in Financial Communication Furthermore, she is Managing Director of the Günter Thiele Foundation for Communication & Management. She is also a PostDoc Researcher at the Department of Communications Management and a recipient of the Center for Corporate Reporting (CCR) Research Fellowship.

From 2010 to 2015, Sandra Binder-Tietz worked for a strategic communications consultancy in Frankfurt and New York, most recently as an associate director focusing on capital market transactions and investor relations.

She wrote her doctoral thesis on Communication of Supervisory Board Chairs. Basics – Structures – Goals – Management.

She founded “ IRNext – the networking platform for the next generation of IR officers” in 2014 in cooperation with Deutschen Investor Relations Verband.

Her research interests include financial communications, investor relations, corporate governance, digitalization, communication management, and corporate communications.
