Prof. Dr. Olaf Streuer has been a Professor of General Business Administration with a focus on finance and marketing at Wismar University of Applied Sciences since 2015. Previously, he held professorships in Accounting, Controlling, and Finance at SRH University of Applied Sciences Berlin and subsequently in General Business Administration / Corporate Management at Fachhochschule Westküste. He also has many years of practical experience in the areas of investor relations, corporate communications, marketing, and corporate development, for which he previously held management positions at various capital market-oriented companies. From 2003 to 2013, he was a member of the board of DIRK – Deutscher Investor Relations Verband and since 2002 has been a regular lecturer, author, and examiner in DIRK’s continuing education program for Certified Investor Relations Officers (CIRO). His research focuses on corporate finance and investor relations.
