Start of the study “Strategies in Financial Communication & Investor Relations”

Today, the Center for Research in Financial Communication launched the first wave of its academic study on “strategies in financial communication and investor relations”.  Based on a comprehensive quantitative survey, the study explores how German stock corporations plan, control and evaluate their financial communication. The study aims to develop a typology of communication strategies in financial communication. Ultimately, it will analyze the value contribution of distinct strategies. The study is part of the Center for Research in Financial Communication’s research focus “Strategy & Value Creation”. In the coming three weeks, decision-makers in the Investor Relations and Corporate Communications divisions of leading German corporations in DAX, MDAX, TexDAX and SDAX will be able to participate in the study. The results will be presented in the context of the Financial Communication Summit in late summer.
